This policy describes how the KnowTheAngels Editorial Team chooses sources, presents interpretations, handles calculations and corrects mistakes. It applies to every guide, tool and quiz on the site.
Sources
A claim about scripture cites the book, chapter and verse. A claim about a later tradition names the text or writer it comes from, such as 1 Enoch, Pseudo-Dionysius or the Catholic Encyclopedia. A modern interpretation of an angel number is credited to the author who made it, because two numerology writers often read the same number differently.
A source counts only when it supports the specific sentence it is attached to. When a cited page turns out to say something else, the citation is replaced or the claim is removed.
Keeping traditions apart
Scripture, Jewish and Christian theology, Islamic teaching, folk custom, numerology and New Age writing are separate layers. A guide says which layer a statement belongs to and does not merge them into one meaning. Where traditions disagree, the guide sets out the main positions without declaring one of them correct for everyone.
Calculations and tools
Numerology guides name the method they use, such as Pythagorean reduction, and show each step. Tools follow the same rules as the guides and state their method beside the result. A result describes a traditional association; it does not predict events.
Sensitive topics
Some guides touch on grief, illness, pregnancy or mental strain. They describe what traditions teach and, where it matters, point to medical or professional help. They do not diagnose, treat or replace that help, and no guide tells you that something bad will happen if you ignore a sign.
Images
Unless a caption says otherwise, the pictures in the guides are illustrations made for this site. They show arranged objects, settings and symbols; they are not photographs of real events or people, and they do not reproduce historical artworks or manuscripts.
Corrections and updates
Reports sent to corrections@knowtheangels.com are checked against the guide's sources. When a report holds up, the guide is corrected and, for a change of meaning, attribution or calculation, its update date moves forward. Formatting fixes and typo corrections do not change the date.
Advertising and independence
KnowTheAngels may show ads served by Google. Advertisers have no say in which topics the library covers or what a guide says. The site does not publish sponsored articles, sell links or use affiliate links.
