The four formulas and where the year comes from

The tool reduces the birth month to one digit (M), the birth day to one digit (D), and the current calendar year to one digit (CY). For 2026, CY is 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 10, then 1.

The labels on the result confirm the inputs. Annual Pinnacle 2 reads "Day + Year 2026" and Annual Pinnacle 4 reads "Month + Year 2026," with the current year printed in the label.

Changing the birth-year dropdown from 1980 to 1995 produces the same four numbers for the same month and day, because the birth year never enters any formula.

The first annual pinnacle (M + D) uses only the birth month and day, so it produces the same number as the First Pinnacle in the lifetime pinnacle tool and stays the same every year. The other three include CY and can change each January 1.

Decoz's pinnacle formulas and what the tool substitutes

Decoz's published pinnacle method uses the birth year in two of the four formulas. Decoz writes: "To find your Second Pinnacle, add the day you were born to the year of your birth."

This tool replaces the birth year with the current calendar year in both the Second and the Fourth formula. The First (month plus day) and Third (sum of the first two) use the same inputs in Decoz's method and in the tool.

Decoz also assigns durations to each pinnacle phase. The First lasts from birth until age 36 minus the Life Path number, the Second and Third each last nine years, and the Fourth continues for the rest of life.

This tool shows no ages or durations. It displays four numbers for the current year, with no information about when each one starts or ends.

A smaller difference affects the inputs. Decoz keeps November as 11 and the 22nd as 22 before adding: "Someone born on November 5 would add 11 (for November - a Master number) and the 5 to get 16, which reduces to 7."

The tool reduces month 11 to 2 and day 22 to 4 before adding, then preserves master numbers only when they appear in the sum. For most dates the final single-digit result is the same, but the paths differ when the unreduced sum would be a master number.

Annual pinnacles compared with the personal year cycle

The personal year tool calculates the year-scale cycle Decoz publishes. It adds the birth month, birth day, and a chosen calendar year, reduces the total, and returns one number.

This tool returns four numbers from a different set of formulas, and the year comes from the device clock rather than a dropdown the reader selects. Decoz's published method backs the personal year tool; no published method backs this one.
