Encouragement and prediction are different claims: neither an encouraging interpretation nor the sum of the digits establishes that an employer has approved a role or a raise.

A career change becomes concrete through an actual offer, its pay and its duties. If a proposed role requires forty-two paid hours a week, the number 42 names a workload. Its presence on the offer does not say whether the extra responsibilities are fairly compensated.
